The first ever Lock Pro Supremacy concluded last Thursday and what a fun packed event it was. This unique freeroll series not only includes a $7,500 Prize Pool but also 25 Lock Poker Pros, all of whom had a $100 bounty on their head.
The first event featured 370 players in total, meaning 2 out of 3 tables would feature a Lock Pro. You guys really showed the Lock Pros a thing or two because not only did not a single one of them make the money, none of them picked up a bounty either. 50 PokerNews Players made the money and another 15 didn’t cash but did pick up a $100 bounty, meaning 65 players in total did not walk away empty handed – that’s better than 1 in 6.
The eventual winner was 1987gajdymoney who picked up $1,950 for first prize, but amazingly didn’t pick up a single bounty along the way.
If you like the sound of this unique series, there are three more on their way:

Our fifth place in the Australian stakes goes to the man who introduced poker legend Joe Hachem to the WSOP in 2005 – Emad Tahtouh. Emad has not matched Joe’s spectacular success to date, but he is still a player to be reckoned with. By the end of 2010, he has amassed $812,367 in total poker winnings and gave a blinding performance at the 2006 European Poker Championships. He finished second to win $535,977.
Our fourth place goes to a young man from Brisbane in Queensland. Mark Vos has acquired a prestigious WSOP bracelet, 9 WSOP cashes and a grand total of $1,248,438 in poker winnings during his career. He divides his time between Australia, where he lives, and South Africa, where he was born.
Bounding into third place is an Australian with a reputation for having a decidedly loud mouth. However, thankfully, Tony Guoga (aka ‘Tony G’ or “the mouth from down under”) is also blessed with a decidedly formidable talent for turbo-charged aggressive play. He has accrued $2,519,754 in total poker winnings to date, and shows no sign of easing up.
Slipping ahead of ‘Tony G’ into the runner up position is Mel Judah, who can claim bragging rights over numerous remarkable WSOP finishes over the years. Born in Calcutta, India, Judah (aka “the Silver Fox”) now has Australian citizenship and is the proud owner of two WSOP. His poker earnings total $2,998,986.
Way out in front with a stunning total of $10,775.017 is a veritable Australian poker superstar – Joe Hachem. $7,500,000 of his poker fortune came from one breathtaking victory – the 2005 WSOP Main Event, when he seemed to come from nowhere to take the crown. The former chiropractor now lives with his family in Melbourne.
