Model and actress Trishelle Cannatella has become the latest poker player to join the team of professionals at Sure Bet Poker, it was announced earlier this week.

Cannatella has forged a successful career in films such as The Dukes of Hazzard and on the small screen during the last decade but she has recently made her mark on the poker world with impressive performances in live events.

The 31 year-old earned $20,000 for a third placed finish in the World Poker Tour Invitational at the Commerce Casino last year and has since taken down the Trash Talk Championship which was held at a recent charity event in Las Vegas.

Cannatella spoke about the announcement in an interview with Ante Up Magazine on Monday. ”I am so excited to join team Sure Bet Poker, and I cannot wait to represent Sure Bet at tournaments both live and online.”

Sure Bet Poker, a new online poker site which is set to launch internationally on October 1, has already procured the signings of poker pros Jason Sallman and Mike Wolf.

Sallman, who is also the Sure Bet Poker CEO, backed Cannatella to thrive on the biggest stage as she looks to add more notable scores to her live tournament resume.

“We couldn’t be happier to have her on the team. She is a great addition, and I think the poker world will see big things from her in the near future.”
