Born in Reno, Nevada, Jennifer Harman Traniello began her professional poker career in the mid-1980s. Since then, she has cashed 53 times, winning four tournaments, and is the holder of two coveted WSOP bracelets.
4. Vanessa Rousso – Career Earnings of $3,147,652
Nicknamed ‘Lady Maverick’, Vanessa Rousso is a dual citizen of the USA and France. Since she won her first tournament in 2005, Rousso has cashed 42 times, and won six tournaments. Currently, Rousso is combining her poker career with studying for a law degree.
3. Annette Obrestad – Career Earnings of $3,299,843
Annette Obrestad is a Norwegian poker professional, who has earned over $3 million at the poker table, despite not quite being 21 years of age. Obrestad’s incredible rise through the women’s poker ranks has been courtesy of three tournament wins, including one in the WSOP and 27 cashes.
2. Vanessa Selbst – Career Earnings of $4,381,951
American poker pro Vanessa Selbst is a resident of Brooklyn, NY and has won seven tournaments. Selbst is one of the few women poker players to have won an ‘open’ event at the WSOP, winning the 2008 $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha.

The top poker playing woman of all time is Kathy Liebert, who has won almost $5.5 million at the tables. Similarly to Vanessa Selbst, Liebert has won an ‘open’ event at the WSOP, taking home the bracelet, and $110,180 from the $1,500 Hold ‘em shootout event in 2004.

5. Hoi Cheung – Career Earnings of $97,872
Hong Kong’s fifth best poker player of all time has only been playing seriously since 2009. In that time, Hoi Cheung has cashed in three times, with his biggest cash haul coming at the Aussie Millions in January 2009.
4. Justin Chan – Career Earnings of $107,489
Justin Chan has achieved 12 cashes in his poker career so far and one tournament victory which has left him on his way to having amassed a total of just over $100,000. Chan’s victory came in the PokerStars Macau Millions, and netted him $35,479.
3. Patrick Kar Keng Lee – Career Earnings of $135,374
Hong Kong’s third greatest player is Patrick Kar Keng Lee, who has only achieved three cashes in tournaments so far. The reason for his high position in the list is for his victory at the No Limit Hold ‘em Red Dragon, where the prize money exceeded $134,000.
2. Elton Tsang – Career Earnings of $206,542
Elton Tsang has cashed in 10 times in his poker career, winning no tournaments as yet. Tsang’s biggest night of his career came in March 2011 when he picked up $95,230 for coming second in the Asian Poker Tour Philippines event.

Chong Wing Cheong is currently sitting pretty at the top of the Hong Kong poker list. This player’s only successful poker tournament was at the Main Event of the APPT Macau in 2010, where he scooped $269,381 for coming second.
