5. Jennifer Harman Traniello – Career Earnings of $2,541,187
Born in Reno, Nevada, Jennifer Harman Traniello began her professional poker career in the mid-1980s. Since then, she has cashed 53 times, winning four tournaments, and is the holder of two coveted WSOP bracelets.
4. Vanessa Rousso – Career Earnings of $3,147,652
Nicknamed ‘Lady Maverick’, Vanessa Rousso is a dual citizen of the USA and France. Since she won her first tournament in 2005, Rousso has cashed 42 times, and won six tournaments. Currently, Rousso is combining her poker career with studying for a law degree.
3. Annette Obrestad – Career Earnings of $3,299,843
Annette Obrestad is a Norwegian poker professional, who has earned over $3 million at the poker table, despite not quite being 21 years of age. Obrestad’s incredible rise through the women’s poker ranks has been courtesy of three tournament wins, including one in the WSOP and 27 cashes.
2. Vanessa Selbst – Career Earnings of $4,381,951
American poker pro Vanessa Selbst is a resident of Brooklyn, NY and has won seven tournaments. Selbst is one of the few women poker players to have won an ‘open’ event at the WSOP, winning the 2008 $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha.
1. Kathy Liebert – Career Earnings of $5,454,839
The top poker playing woman of all time is Kathy Liebert, who has won almost $5.5 million at the tables. Similarly to Vanessa Selbst, Liebert has won an ‘open’ event at the WSOP, taking home the bracelet, and $110,180 from the $1,500 Hold ‘em shootout event in 2004.

The 2011 PokerStars.net Latin American Poker Tour Punta del Este Main Event resumed on Saturday with 27 players remaining from the starting field of of 422, all looking to navigate to Sunday’s final table of eight. After five levels and change, Alex Komalomi has separated himself from the pack, leading the way with 2,920,000 — more than a third of the chips in play.
Komalomi began Day 2 with 304,000, which was 11/27 coming into the day. The key hand that propelled him to the top of the counts took place with ten players remaining. With the blinds and antes at the 12,000/24,000/4,000 level, Andrey Tsitovich opened the pot with an under-the-gun min-raise to 48,000. Komalomi popped it to 116,000 from the big blind, only to see Tsitovich shove for about 875,000. A call from Komalomi revealed 
, leading the 
held by Tsitovich. The board ran out a safe 



for Komalomi, bringing play to the unofficial final table of nine where once again Komalomi scored the elimination.
With the blinds and antes at the 15,000/30,000/5,000 level, the action started with a Komalomi raise to 65,000 from the hijack. Oded Minond shoved on the button for 445,000 and it folded around to Komalomi. After a good two minutes in the tank, he called and tabled 
. Minond held a slight lead with 
, but was unable to hold as the board came down 



, setting the stage for the official final table.
