There is less than a week left to qualify for the PokerNews $20,000 PokerStars Freeroll to be held on Jan. 31 at 1400 EST (1900 GMT). The freeroll is open to both new and existing PokerNews players, but if you hope to qualify, you’ll have to act fast.

What do you need to do?

If you’re a new player, just sign up for a PokerStars account through PokerNews and make a first deposit by Jan. 27.

If you’re an existing PokerNews player, then all you have to do is earn 45 VPPs by Jan. 27. With only a couple of days left to qualify, earning that amount of VPPs could be a challenge, but would no doubt be worth it.
