Nosebleed regular Rui ‘PepperoniF’ Cao saw his recent barren run come to an end on Wednesday as he dominated the high stakes cash game tables on PokerStars.
Cao needed only 1,204 hands to cement his standing as one of the most talented Pot Limit Omaha players on the virtual felt. The Chinese born pro eventually logged off with a $143,000 profit.
‘L0ve2playU’ and ‘Fake Love888′ both suffered at the hands of Cao at the $100 / $200 stakes. Cao’s latest exploits have increased his upswing for the calendar year to $1.3 million. Only Andreas Torbergsen and Rafi Amit have earned more during 2011.
While Viktor ‘Isildiur1′ Blom and Phil ‘MrSweets28′ Galfond continued to take a short break from the online game in mid-week, Benny ‘toweliestar’ Spindler added another $61,000 to his bankroll.
The German pro has been on a huge tear in recent weeks and has now won more than $700,000 on PokerStars this year. Ben ‘Ben86′ Tollerene also prospered, when he took down $49,000 in various games.
Davin ‘mTw-DaviN’ Georgi posted a rare downswing on the world’s largest poker site. Georgi donated $118,000 to his opponents but still remains in the black by $342,000 for the year.
‘Love2playU’ joined Georgi in the losing column. Georgi failed to arrest the downswing posted against Cao and eventually finished with deficits of $97,000. ‘FlipflopUK’ (-$113,000), ‘Deldar182′ (-$55,000) and ‘mikzoan’ (-$50,000) rounded out the biggest losers online.

Rafi ‘rafaelamit’ Amit’s high stakes cash game hot streak was snapped by ‘!P0krpartyi’ on Tuesday in an action packed evening on the world’s largest poker site, PokerStars.
Amit has been on fire recently and became the biggest winner online in 2011 on Monday but he could not stop a rampant ‘!Pokrpartyi’ in mid-week. The unknown alias burned through a staggering 6,204 hands in one huge $50/$100 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max session.
‘!P0krpartyi’ took Ben ‘Sauce123′ Sulsky, Sami ‘Lrslzk’ Kelopuro, Davin ‘mTw-DaviN’ Georgi and Amit to the cleaners and eventually logged off after over fifty hours with a substantial $405,000 upswing. ‘!P0krpartyi’ has now won almost $500,000 online since July.
Renowned live tournament player Benny ‘towliestar’ Spindler also dominated for the third night in succession. Spindler played over 2,200 hands at the PLO stakes and added another $191,000 to his bankroll. The German is now up $651,000 for the calendar year.
Amit had a rare foray into the losing column on Tuesday as he donated $127,000 in total to his opponents. Despite that downswing, the Israeli is still the biggest winner this year with profits of $1.45 million.
Sulsky has struggled for form for several months now and he could not get anything going as he bled $67,000 in various games. Rob ‘Vaga_Lion’ Akery (-$55,000), Niki ‘RealAndyBeal’ Jedlicka (-$45,000) and ‘Barbara42′ (-$49,000) also struggled on the virtual felt.
‘!Pokrpartyi’ and Spindler were the biggest winners by some margin but ‘socutiesf’ (+$47,000), ‘tuff_shark’ (+$84,000) and ‘Zypherin’ (+$71,000) also enjoyed lucrative evenings on PokerStars.
