#5 – J. C. Tran
This guy has been rising inexorably in the professional poker world since his 7th place finish at the 2004 World Poker Tour.  Tran made two final tables at his very first WSOP and can now claim bragging rights over two bracelets and $7,358,892 in poker winnings.

#4 – David “The Dragon” Pham
A boat-person who fled his war-torn South Vietnamese birthplace at the age of just 17, David Pham began helping his cousin out in his laundry business in the US.  He simultaneously got acquainted with poker – hardly surprising when you consider that cousin was Men Nguyen.  David has made $8,350,010 in poker winnings, and boasts 29 first places finishes and two WSOP bracelets.

#3 – Men “The Master” Nguyen
Known for his generous donations to charity and for helping rookie players to hone their poker talents, Men Nguyen discovered poker in the early 1980s.  After a shaky start, he hasn’t looked back.  Composed, masterfully skilful and good-hearted, Men has accrued 7 WSOP bracelets, 59 first place finishes and total poker winnings of $8,646,988.

#2 – Scotty Nguyen
Scotty Nguyen also fled South Vietnam as a young teenager, and began working as a poker dealer in his new home of South California as a young man.  Thanks to his outstanding talent, he was 5 WSOP bracelets, 32 first place finishes and a stunning $10,828,112 in total poker winnings.

#1 – John Juanda
This native of Indonesia has become one of the top five poker players in the whole world, with total a winnings of $11,268,551.  He also has three WSOP bracelets and 23 first place finishes to his name.  Calm, relaxed and quietly brilliant, this guy’s a true poker genius.
