Week One of the Poker After Dark $100,000 Pot Limit Omaha Cash Game concluded on NBC on Friday evening.
High stakes regulars Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey and Phil Galfond all featured in the first ever PLO session in Poker After Dark history.
Brian Hastings and Brandon Adams locked horns during the second episode following an action K-K-8-6 flop.
Hastings trip fours dominated Adams’ two pair but the Harvard professor check-called three five figure bets from Hastings before mucking his hand.
Tom Dwan then produced an impressive fold after rivering a six-high straight.
Dwan, wary of Ivey’s check raise post flop and $10,000 and $30,000 bullets on the turn and river, made the right call as his opponent had improved to a full house.
Dawn revealed, “I was pretty confident in my fold, I guess I’ll need to watch it on TV to see if I was right or not, but hopefully I was.”
A Patrik Antonius straddle then prompted the whole table to limp in pre flop. However, only Ivey and Galfond continued their interest in the hand when Antonius led out for $5,000 post flop.
Antonius had hit a straight but both Ivey and Galfond had cards to improve with flush and straight draws.
Those cards had arrived by the river as Ivey completed a King-high flush. Galfond, with a Queen-high flush, led out for $56,000 and was called down by both his opponents as Ivey shipped the $198,600 pot.

Online high stakes cash game sensations Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan and Patrik Antonius will be giving their first ever paid poker lessons next month.
The talented duo have been recruited by fellow Team Full Tilt Pro Brandon Adams for their unique expert insight.
Adams has recently developed a new coaching site and Dwan and Antonius will make use of video-audio technology to teach two lucky poker players for an hour one-on-one.
Adams, who is also a Harvard professor, spoke of his admiration for Dwan and Antonius earlier this week.
“Tom is simply the most innovative mind in poker, and many of the best players of his generation have publicly credited him as being the leading influence in their poker development.”
“Patrik is probably the second biggest winner in poker over the last decade. By results, Patrik and Phil Ivey are the best internet poker players on the planet.”
Adams admitted that those interested will have to pay a high price for their services with the bidding set to take place on Adams’ Twitter account.
The current highest bidder, which is set to start at $3,000 with increments of $100 thereafter, will be updated on the account.
Dwan and Antonius will instruct the two players on the expertinsight.com website on April 18 and 19. The proceeds will be donated to the Morris Jeff Community School.
