Get involved in the fantastic PokerNews PKR StakeChases promotion and you could win a sponsorship package from PKR in the form of tournament tickets!
Kicking off on Oct.24 and running all the way through to Nov. 28, the PokerNews PKR StakeChases promotion could see you walk away with up to $250 worth of tournament tickets, just for playing your favorite real money poker games on PKR.
Unlike many rake-based promotions where you are battling against other players, in the PokerNews PKR StakeChases the only person you have to take on is yourself because the prize you are awarded at the end of the promotional period is based on the PKR Points you earned regardless of how many points your rivals generated.
The PokerNews PKR StakeChases are open to both new and existing PKR players who signed up for their account via PokerNews links and who used our bonus codes. New players will be entered into the First Depositors division, and our valued existing customers will participate in the Active PokerNews Players division.
The first points target you need to aim for is 2,500 where the first set of tournament tickets are awarded. The next highest tier is set at 5,000 then 10,000; 25,000; 50,000 with the highest rank and most precious prizes will be awarded to any player who reaches a 100,000 points tally. The prizes will be distributed as follows:
Existing Players
| 2,500 | $6 Mini Masters | $6.00 |
| 5,000 | 2x $6 | $12.00 |
| 10,000 | 2x $12, 1x Mini Masters | $30.00 |
| 25,000 | 3x $20, 1x $12 | $72.00 |
| 50,000 | 5x $20, 1x $30 | $130.00 |
| 100,000 | 5x $30, 2x $50 | $250.00 |
New Players
| 50,000 | 1x $50, 2x $30, 5x $20, 3x $12 | $246.00 |
Although the points targets look very high, in reality they are actually easy to achieve because PKR Points are awarded at a rate of 100 per $1 generated in rake or paid in tournament fees. Plus, you have more than a calendar month in which to earn as many points as possible, which should be plenty of time to reach the top tier or at least get very close to it.
Please be aware that the prizes are not cumulative and you will only be awarded the tournament tickets from the highest tier that you manage to reach once the promotion draws to a close. Once this fantastic promotion has been completed, all tournament ticket will be credited within 48-hours and any winnings from these tickets can be withdrawn at any time, with no release restrictions.
If you do not have a PKR account then fear not, because PokerNews can rectify that situation and give you a 125% up to $500 first deposit bonus too. Download PKR through PokerNews, enter the bonus code “PNPKR500” and not only will you be able to claim the huge bonus, but you will also be able to participate in the PokerNews PKR StakeChases promotion too.

Download Poker770 now and satellite into the PokerNews $25K Showdown to claim your share of the juicy guaranteed prize pool!
Showdown Just Days Away
If you want a chance of winning your share in a guaranteed $25,000 prize pool, be sure to head over to Poker770 at 2100 CET this Friday, Oct. 28 and take part in the exclusive $7.70 rebuy event to have a chance of becoming the winner of the first PokerNews $25,000 Showdown.
The event is an exciting $7.70 rebuy tournament and features a massive $25,000 guaranteed prize pool. With the field capped at 3,000 players and rebuys limited to 10 per player, plus one add-on, we can tell you with much confidence that there is almost certainly going to be an overlay. Imagine turning less than $10 into a large chunk of $25,000. The only better feeling would be turning a freeroll into such a large prize and that’s exactly what you could do thanks to Poker770.
Qualify for Free Before Friday
You could turn a freeroll into thousands of dollars thanks to the daily PokerNews $25K Showdown qualifier freerolls on offer at Poker770, and with only a few days left to satellite for free, be sure to hit tables ASAP. The daily freerolls take place at 1600 CET each day and give away 10 guaranteed seats. That’s a minimum of 30 seats that will be given away before this Friday!
If you’re an Australian player, you will have extra chances to take down a free seat thanks to a freeroll specially for Australian players. The last Australian targeted freeroll takes place at 1100 CET (20:00 AEDST) Monday and will also give away a guaranteed 10 seats.
If you don’t manage to lock up a seat for free in one of the freerolls, don’t stress because you could turn less than $1 into a PokerNews $25K Showdown seat in the daily cheap-roll qualifiers. The cheap-rolls take place each day at 2100 CET so be sure to take to the tables over the next couple of days and lock up a Showdown seat.

Overlay Imminent This Friday
We know that an overlay is almost a lock in the PokerNews $25K Showdown because in July PokerNews and Poker770 offered players The PokerNews Giant, a $2 rebuy event that featured an equally ambitious $30,000 guaranteed prize pool. When the tournament was all over, “NoobDomination,” was the biggest winner since the event ended up with a $15,000 overlay and awarded NoobDomination a massive $6,000 first place prize.
With the PokerNews $25K Showdown looking to go the same way as the PokerNews Giant, be sure to head over to Poker770 and start qualifying now because the massive event kicks off this Friday!
It doesn’t matter where players signed up to Poker770, but if you don’t have a Poker770 account, be sure to open one through PokerNews so you will be eligible for all the exclusive PokerNews promotions that will take place in the future. While you’re at it, make sure you use the bonus code “PKRNEWSEN” when making your first deposit to receive a generous 200% up to “1,400 bonus.
