Online poker site, DoylesRoom has announced that it has have joined the Yatahay Poker Network following the departure from the Cake Poker Network late last week.
Poker legend Doyle Brunson revealed on Twitter that he was in Costa Rica seven days ago, sparking rumors that the poker room may be on the verge of joining the highly popular Cereus Poker Network.
However, it has been confirmed that the Yatahay Poker Network will be their new home.
The 77 year-old spoke of his excitement at the deal in a press release circulated following the announcement.
“With our new software, we are able to do our own thing in terms of promotions, software features and customer service.”
“For our players, that means a tailored poker experience with more rewarding promotions and incentives. I am personally excited about what is ahead.”
DoylesRoom first joined the Cake Poker Network in 2009 after leaving the Microgaming Network.
However, the network has been in steady decline for almost 12 months. High profiles executives Lee Jones and Serge Ravitch also parted ways with the company at the start of the year.
Cake Poker Network has allegedly recorded a 30% drop in traffic since the departure of DoylesRoom. The Yatahay Poker Network could now become one of the leading gainers in the online poker market during 2011.

Team PokerStars sponsored pro Viktor ‘Isildur1′ Blom dominated high stakes cash game action for the third evening in succession on Tuesday.
The Swedish sensation booked a profit of $384,000 following a lengthy session on the world’s biggest online poker site.
Blom began his assault against Ashton ‘theASHMAN103′ Griffin. The 21 year-old won $80,000 six tabling $25/$25 Pot Limit Omaha.
He then took longtime rival Phil ‘Jman28′ Galfond to the cleaners for $140,000 in $25/$50 No Limit Hold’em exchanges.
He rounded the night off in style by taking down $164,000 after 2,000 hands of $50/$100 NLH against ‘Kanu7.’
Viktor Blom has been in exceptional form since he recorded his second PokerStars SuperStars Showdown triumph over Dan Cates on Sunday.
The London based pro admitted on Twitter on Wednesday that he was feeling better than he has for over a year.
Blom, who was on a substantial downswing at the end of January, now finds himself in the black by more than $300,000 for the calendar year.
Jared ‘Harrington10′ Bleznick also prospered on PokerStars, winning $251,000.
Scott ‘URnotINdanger2′ Palmer continues to set the pace this year. The Maryland native has won well over $1 million during 2011 on his two active online accounts.
Bleznick struggled to transfer his successes on PokerStars to cash game action on Full Tilt Poker. ‘harrington25′ finished in the red by $150,000.
Andrew ‘luckychewy’ Lichtenberger ($-126,000) and ‘nutsinho’ (-$296,000) rounded out the top three biggest losers.
