Players receive one league point just for participating in any of the league tournaments, and the top 10 players each week cash in on the most league points.
If players think it’s too late to start playing in the league, think again because the exciting wild-card tournament allows players to earn double league points in one chosen event. This means that if you choose carefully and end up winning your wild-card event, you could find yourself at the top of the leaderboard after just one week!
To choose a wild-card event players need to announce it prior to the start of the chosen event in the dedicated forum thread.

Download PokerStars this month and earn 150 VPPs before September 21 to participate in three exclusive freerolls, with a combined value of $20,000
Rarely does a month go by in which PokerNews and PokerStars don’t come together to bring players five-figure freeroll series, and this month is no different. Many of the previous promotions concentrated on awarding tickets to million-dollar tournaments to PokerNews readers, but this time around we are opting to give out cold, hard cash.
The PokerStars $20,000 Freeroll series is exclusive to PokerNews and consists of three freerolls in September, each with a larger prize pool than the last. Each freeroll pays out as per the PokerStars standard payout structure.
