Online poker room ChiliPoker has added several unique social networking features.

Players can now make use of an application called ‘ChiliConnect’ which integrates Facebook and Twitter within their poker accounts, allowing them to share results with friends and create other challenges.

ChiliPoker Founder Alexandre Dreyfus spoke about the exciting new addition in a press release earlier this week.

“ChiliPoker has always been close to its players through a very strong customer care team and more lately through our successful live event tour in Europe.”

“By listening to them, we understood that online poker players wanted to enjoy the same experience that they could in land based events. We decided to add this social experience online along with a ‘challenge’ system.”

The ChiliConnect system allows players to Share, Swap, Challenge and Connect with other poker players.

The most innovative of these is the ‘Challenge’ widget which offers players the opportunity to make last-longer bets. These bets are then tracked by the system and prizes are paid out accordingly.

The ‘Swap’ widget allows players to sell a percentage of their buy-in to other players, a premise which is popular among the finest players in live tournament poker.

‘Connect’ and ‘Share’ features offer numerous ways to share results, hand histories and other statistics among friends.
