Rafi ‘rafaelamit’ Amit’s high stakes cash game hot streak was snapped by ‘!P0krpartyi’ on Tuesday in an action packed evening on the world’s largest poker site, PokerStars.
Amit has been on fire recently and became the biggest winner online in 2011 on Monday but he could not stop a rampant ‘!Pokrpartyi’ in mid-week. The unknown alias burned through a staggering 6,204 hands in one huge $50/$100 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max session.
‘!P0krpartyi’ took Ben ‘Sauce123′ Sulsky, Sami ‘Lrslzk’ Kelopuro, Davin ‘mTw-DaviN’ Georgi and Amit to the cleaners and eventually logged off after over fifty hours with a substantial $405,000 upswing. ‘!P0krpartyi’ has now won almost $500,000 online since July.
Renowned live tournament player Benny ‘towliestar’ Spindler also dominated for the third night in succession. Spindler played over 2,200 hands at the PLO stakes and added another $191,000 to his bankroll. The German is now up $651,000 for the calendar year.
Amit had a rare foray into the losing column on Tuesday as he donated $127,000 in total to his opponents. Despite that downswing, the Israeli is still the biggest winner this year with profits of $1.45 million.
Sulsky has struggled for form for several months now and he could not get anything going as he bled $67,000 in various games. Rob ‘Vaga_Lion’ Akery (-$55,000), Niki ‘RealAndyBeal’ Jedlicka (-$45,000) and ‘Barbara42′ (-$49,000) also struggled on the virtual felt.
‘!Pokrpartyi’ and Spindler were the biggest winners by some margin but ‘socutiesf’ (+$47,000), ‘tuff_shark’ (+$84,000) and ‘Zypherin’ (+$71,000) also enjoyed lucrative evenings on PokerStars.
