The DeepStacks Poker Tour and Breeders’ Cup have joined forces again for the 2nd Annual Celebrity Poker Invitational at the Commerce Casino near Los Angeles, Calif. The charity tournament will be hosted by DeepStacks Pro Michael Mizrachi on Oct. 30, 2012.
The event will be included in NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Championship and will also be live streamed via DeepStacks360 and presented on DeepStacks.com and BreedersCup.com.
“The Breeders’ Cup is a world-class organization that has made our partnership a pleasure to be a part of,” said DeepStacks CEO Chris Torina. “Having the opportunity to work with Breeders’ Cup for a second year in a row on an event of this magnitude is truly an honor for our company.”
The DeepStacks Poker Tour Breeders’ Cup Celebrity Invitational will feature a $200 buy-in with unlimited $100 rebuys for the first three levels. All proceeds from the event will go to the California Retirement Agency (CARMA). The winner will earn an automatic $10,000 entry into the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge held during the Breeders Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park from Nov. 2 through 3, 2012.
Among the poker pros confirmed for this year’s tournament are Mike Matusow, Tristan Wade, Randal Flowers and Robert Mizrachi. Last year’s event held in Southern Indiana raised more than $15,000 for the Jimmy V Foundation.

Six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner T.J. Cloutier is the most famous face behind the new ‘Poker Pros Network’ which launched on Cake Poker at the weekend.
Poker Pros Network CEO Chuck Kidd spoke about the launch of the site in a press release circulated earlier this week.

The US friendly site is planning to offer a weekly bounty event with a 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event prize package on offer for the winner.
The PPN lobby will allow players to face off against the professionals who will be highlighted when they are online.
